The Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) has released a request for tender (RFT) for Phase 3A of the Northern Endeavour decommissioning program.

Phase 3A involves the recovery, transport and offloading of subsea infrastructure from the Laminaria and Corallina oil fields to a nominated Australian port.

The successful contractor will deliver the work in two stages. Stage 1 covers the planning, engineering, logistics, procurement and regulatory activities required before offshore operations can begin, including preparation of a Stage Gate Review Pack for approval.

Following approval, Stage 2 will involve removing subsea equipment from the seabed, transporting the recovered infrastructure to a nominated port, and offloading and transferring it to the Phase 3B contractor.

The RFT is seeking proposals that demonstrate strong safety, health and environmental performance, effective risk management, regulatory compliance and delivery of a technically compliant solution that provides value for money.

The RFT number is ATM_2026_3048, with submissions closing at 2:00pm AEDT on 23 October 2026.
