This module provides participants with an understanding of well decommissioning and the complexities that can be encountered. It is particularly useful for team members who may not be directly involved in well decommissioning but need a foundational level of knowledge to support informed discussions, planning, and decision-making across the organisation.
No prior knowledge or technical experience in well decommissioning is needed. This is an introductory module, and learners are not required to be engineers or specialists.
