James Fisher and Sons plc (James Fisher), a global provider of specialist marine and energy solutions and CODA member, will share information on new technologies at D&A Australia in Perth on 23-24 June.
These include SEABASS™ and SEABASS™-MLS; a modular rigless well plug and abandonment system used in the North Sea, and JetFlow 100 – a powerful controlled flow excavation tool which cuts through soils and clays and provides mass flow excavation in a single pass.
Backed by a local team headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, James Fisher will share learnings from well decommissioning campaigns worldwide alongside news on decommissioning services and tooling.
Phil Ash, Head of Sales – APAC, will be joined by William McLennan, Technical Support Manager and Mohd Shakir bin Sofian, Business Development Manager – APAC on stand 24 at The Crown Perth.
The event follows a successful D&A Gulf of America in Houston in April, where James Fisher representatives engaged with operators, contractors, regulators and supply chain partners on the execution of safer and more efficient late-life asset decommissioning and well plug and abandonment campaigns.
Phil Ash said:
“We’re looking forward to engaging with the wider decommissioning community at home here in Perth. D&A Australia is a valuable platform for sharing insights and best practice, and for understanding the unique challenges facing stakeholders in Australia and Asia-Pacific.”
Francis Norman, CEO and Managing Director of CODA, will also be presenting at this year’s event, alongside delegates from the South Australian Government and supply chain.
