Unique Group Appoints Fraser Moonie

Unique Group, global leaders in subsea technologies and engineering, has appointed Fraser Moonie as their Global Commercial & Strategy Development Director – Survey Equipment. Fraser will play a key role in leading and executing the strategic commercial initiatives for the Survey Equipment division across Unique Group’s global locations.

In his new role, Fraser will be responsible for ensuring that Survey Equipment’s commercial strategy aligns with Unique Group’s overarching corporate goals. His focus will be on driving revenue growth, enhancing market share, and collaborating closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and effective commercial strategy execution.

Fraser brings with him a wealth of experience in the offshore, subsea, and survey equipment industry, having held senior leadership roles at Bibby Offshore, McDermott, Mermaid Subsea Services, and most recently at Rovco. His extensive background in ROVs, vessels, survey equipment, and subsea technology positions him well to drive the strategic growth of Unique Group’s Survey Equipment division.

Celebrating three years as Australia’s peak body for decommissioning

December 10, 2024 marks a significant milestone for the Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA), as we celebrate three years of independently serving as Australia’s peak body for decommissioning.

Over this period, CODA has grown to become a 130+ partner organisation, uniting industry stakeholders from across the entire supply chain. Together, we’ve worked to address key challenges, develop innovative solutions, and promote best practices in decommissioning.

  • Western Australia Decommissioning Hub Location Study: Identifying optimal locations for decommissioning facilities, this study supports the establishment and growth of Australia’s domestic decommissioning, dismantling, recycling, and disposal industry. View
  • Skills Review for the Australian Oil & Gas Decommissioning Industry: This comprehensive review assesses current and future workforce capabilities, laying the foundation for a cohesive strategy to develop a skilled domestic workforce equipped to meet future challenges. View
